it offers good prices. my time there was very nice. i tried some nice meals at gt fish & oyster, located near the hotel. i asked the managing staff for help, and they fixed my problems. i appreciated the breakfast food available in the café.
Rooms in Ohio House were absolutely clean. View from the window to the city. Magnificent Mile district is worth your attention. They helped us with extra towels too. Enjoyable base for a 2-night stay...
Free parking and excellent location.
The first night was cold (
Great location. Free on site parking. Also, I had two rooms booked, but the motel had only one reserved. They took care of it though and found me another room on the spot.
The best part is the free parking at a Chicago Loop location with the Rock & Roll McDonald's right across the street and the coffee shop with their famous Dueces Wild economy breakfast. Liked the upgraded rooms and better tv with cable and the especially the ability to plug my dvd player into the front inputs!
The shower head sprayed from a leak that I requested they tape up but nev er did. Other than that all was ok.
Location must be considered as ideal. Just in downtown, on walking distance to the famous Chicago pizza places (uno + the others). It does have this typical american motel style outside in the middle of the city. I did not use the parking facilities since we always took the metro. Simple nice room. Little noise from LaSalle av. the first night, but very calm on the second and third night. Again, very good location for visiting the city. Price was very good for american standards (although still slightly more expensive than european hotels). Good deal.
The location is really great, for this price it cannot be better. The room was just fine, nothing special, totally basic, but clean and comfortable enough.
It was really noisy, every sound can be heard from the street and in front of the window there were always people talking and making noise. Earplugs are mandatory! The room was really basic, no refrigerator, no microwave, not even coffee in the room.
good location - friendly staff - priced right - good free parking - convenient diner on property
Rooms are clean. King Size bed was on the very firm side. The Resturant at front of the office is EXCELLENT. Would stay again.
It is to the point good location, nicevprice and free wifi and parking
I think it needs good restaurant and food facilities
I stayed there for one night and it was perfect - a good motel in the middle of Chicago, great location, low in price, clean and friendly staff. Also great candy in reception area!
It is not a luxury hotel
Free parking, great location, clean rooms
Room was as expected: Clean, no frills, comfortable bed. Decor was very basic, but we do not spend a lot of time in our room when we travel anyway. We loved the free, on-site parking right outside our door. There is no coffee service in the room, but the small, cozy diner on the premises had a very good breakfast for $5.75! The location in the River North neighborhood is close to the Loop, Magnificent Mile and all the theater and nightlife Chicago has to offer. We were able to walk most places or take public transportation. We would definitely stay here again!
Location. Very central and close to downtown. Rooms were very clean and comfortable. No smoking meant no smoking which was excellent! Free parking a bonus too.
Little pricey but cheaper than most in Chicago.
Good location, within town. A few block to subway and next door to McDonald and other gourmet. Free parking is absolute for those with a car.
Traffic noise, cleanliness may not be the best. A room rather old.
